Chuck E. Cheese's

Lexi was invited to a party to celebrate her friend Alexa's third birthday at Chuck E. Cheese's. When I told Alexa's mommy that Lexi had never been to CEC, she was quite shocked. (She has a 6-year-old, too, so she doesn't even really remember life before CEC.)

Lexi liked Alexa's strawberry cupcakes.

Fortunately, I don't think Chuck made a very lasting impression.

    We went to one birthday part at Chuck E. Cheese, and I was so overwhelmed by the Kids On Crack atmosphere that we haven't been back. I hope to avoid it for the rest of my life. They all turned into monsters.

    The parents are just as bad. No one watches their kids. I HATE that place. Luckily Gage does not like it that much either.

    My sisters and I spent many an evening doing flips into the ball pit at a Chuck E. Cheese in good ol' Normal, Ill. Good times, good times.
