We checked out Derby's Rock River Rapids. (It only took me 40 minutes and six trips through Derby to find it.) Lexi went to school because I wasn't real sure how she'd like it. She'd like it.
It was one 2-year-old's first visit to a Japanese grill. During the big fire, she whispered to me, "I wanna go home." But she never cried. And she ate. A lot. That's my girl.
Lisa helped Lexi make a comfy cozy bed in a guest room laundry basket. Cozy!!!

You dork! The water park is about 1 mile south of our house! (You should have called.) And we should have went there Monday, too. We were planning to take Kyle and our niece, Kerri, there today. Dumb rain!
Gasp! Is that a Sumo plate I see before me?? Yummy yum yum. And good for Lexi for eating her veggies. Is she much into sushi yet?? :)
Looks like a grand old time with the friends and kids-of-friends. We love the Derby water park, too. And, of course, Apples to Apples.
