Lexi's class went on a trip to the pumpkin patch on Monday morning, which turned out to be a very, very bad idea. It was so freezing cold in that freezing field, some of the kids were crying in misery. Here's Lexi before the pain set in.
Here is Lexi's best friend, Emma, who was my responsibility on the trip. I love this little girl. Wish she could come live with us, but I think her mom likes her pretty well.

Technology truly is an inescapable aspect of our daily lives, and I think it is safe to say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as memory gets less expensive, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about almost every day.
