It was picture day at Lexi's school a few weeks ago, and for days leading up to it, I kept reminding her to smile pretty, demonstrating the how-to's of it several times.
When I picked her up that night, I asked her if she smiled pretty. No, she told me, and she demonstrated the demonic smile she claimed she had employed. I thought she was joking.

She's really 2 1/2 years old? She looks so much older.
She's getting so big and grown-up. All that talk of poop balls has really aged her!
Trust me, your battles with the school photos are just beginning. Casey smiles stiffly like his teeth are glued together and in almost every photo we have of Brett, his eyes are closed! This is why I still insist on having a photo studio take their photos so I can be there.

School photos, for better and for worse, are the best. Hide those in a safe place and break them out when she's a teen! Wow. You're already getting great bribe material!!
