It started shortly after Lexi was born. Rachel's mom, Julie, showed up one day with Dillards bags stuffed full of baby clothes -- dresses, pants, shorts, jammies, swimsuits. You name it, these Dillards bags had it.
Ever since then, Julie has reliably delivered another bag every few months. Some of Lexi's most fabulous fashion statements have come from the generosity of Rachel's wardrobe. Including this little number, which Lexi proudly refers to as "my pretty dress."
We've also received a bunch of cute stuff from Lexi's other big girl friend, Maddy, whose closet has always contained the height of toddler fashion.
We try to return the favor by passing the clothes on to other friends, like Gabby, when we're done with them. But some of them are so cute, it's hard to part with them.
Thanks Rachel and Maddy! Hand-me-downs rock.

Lexi looks ADORABLE in that "pretty dress"! I love that gritted-teeth, wrinkled-nose devilish look! You and Lexi are doing me a favor, Denise, by helping me keep Rachel's wardrobe in some semblance of order. It's even better to have friends who can use the cute clothes!
Thanks for the "shout out" on hand-me-downs that Maddy has given Lexi. Don't forget I still have some for you to look through! Maybe Lexi will find some more "pretty dresses"! Aren't free, cute clothes the best! Anyone out there need some 12-18 month old boy clothes???
